NexusCon 2026 was held at The Department at Hudson's in Detroit, MI.
Connected building operations and smart building professionals attend NexusCon.
It is most useful for owners and operators of connected buildings, since the speakers were scheduled to be practitioners from organizations such as Morgan Stanley, JPMorgan Chase, Stanford, Walmart and Banner Health, and the content was described as running from beginner to expert level. Vendors wanting a pure selling venue would get less from it, as the format was described as sponsor-free education with unstructured networking, though demos were included.
Facilities, engineering and building technology professionals usually wear business casual, such as collared shirts and slacks or jeans, with comfortable shoes for demos, and Detroit in early October warrants a light jacket.
