Questions people ask
5 answeredStata Conference 2026 took place on 1–2 October 2026.
It was held at Revere Hotel Boston Common, 200 Stuart Street, Boston, MA 02116.
The conference was open to Stata users of all disciplines and experience levels, including researchers from across disciplines.
It was most useful for working Stata users in academia, public health and economics, since the presenters were scheduled to come from institutions such as Harvard, Boston University School of Public Health, the World Bank and StataCorp itself, and attendees could engage with the developers. The registration included lunch, and optional three-hour workshops the day before added depth for newer users; people who only use Stata occasionally, or who want a broad data-science show, would get less from it.
Attendees at statistical software and academic research conferences usually wear casual to business casual, such as jeans or chinos with a shirt or sweater. Boston in early October can be cool, so a light jacket was useful for the Boston Common hotel venue.
