The Annual National SAM Conference 2027

The conference takes place at JW Marriott Resort in Summerlin, Nevada.

The identified audiences include educators and school leaders.

It is best for principals, district administrators and teachers already using or exploring the approach promoted by the National SAM Innovation Project, since the audience is educators and school leaders and the speakers are presented as authors and leaders in teaching and learning. Educators with no connection to that approach, or those who want a broad vendor exhibition or subject-specific training, would likely get less from it, as the facts point to leadership-focused professional development rather than a product show.

Educators at national professional development conferences usually wear business casual, such as slacks, dresses or polos with a cardigan. At a Summerlin resort in January, the days are mild but meeting rooms and evenings can be cool, so a layer helps.
