Alabama Association for Gifted Children Conference 2026

The conference takes place at Renaissance Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel in Mobile, Alabama.

The organizer lists education professionals, gifted program educators, advocates, and parents as audience groups.

It is most useful for gifted program teachers and coordinators in Alabama, since the event is a state association conference attended by education professionals, advocates and parents, with speakers such as Brian Housand. Parents get a virtual Parent Night and a Creativity Night is held as well, but educators outside Alabama or outside gifted education would find a narrower draw than a national gifted conference.

Educators at state education conferences usually wear business casual, such as slacks, blouses or collared shirts, with comfortable shoes for long session days. Mobile is warm and humid in early October, so lighter fabrics suit, plus a layer for cold conference rooms.
