It was most useful for serious catfish keepers and breeders, since the program had seven speakers including Dr. Melanie Stiassny and Hans-Georg Evers, plus a vendor room and a Sunday auction where registered sellers could move fish. Aquarists who kept mostly non-catfish community tanks would have gotten less from it, because the talks and trading were focused on one group of fish.
